TCA recently worked with a
major Boston-area copy company with multiple locations. The client wanted to reduce their network cost but still maintain strong
voice and data capabilities, without the cost of upgrading
their telephone or data hardware. After analyzing their
network services and evaluating all alternatives, TCA was
able to reduce network cost by 45% ($75,000) without any
additional telephone or network hardware expenditures. The
client also received a refund of $12,000 from Verizon. |
TCA assisted a Boston
non-profit law firm consisting of over one hundred attorneys.
The client needed to reduce cost and also maintain their present
level of voice and Internet service.
TCA,
after evaluating their telephone line usage and network configuration,
reconfigured the network by reducing the number of lines and
canceling many
unnecessary services. TCA negotiated a contract that saved the
law firm $35,000 per annum. |
A famous
North Shore seafood restaurant benefited from TCA's professional services. After upgrading their
telephone system, their network services experienced line outages
during bad weather. Line service would go out
for days at a time. The telephone system provider and the network
vendor did
not provide any redundancy or disaster recovery for this type of situation. TCA
designed and implemented two disaster recovery systems which not
only upgraded the telephone service, but kept the costs
the same. |
A
Massachusetts based trust company, with offices in New
Hampshire, needed to upgrade its interoffice voice and data
capabilities as well as reduce their interoffice calling costs. TCA designed a
Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) network between HQ and all of the branches.
Interoffice toll traffic was reduced by $1,000 per month, while voice communication between branches was enhanced. The design enabled Wide Area
Network (WAN) traffic to travel over the same lines, which helped to reduce the
overall network cost by several thousand dollars a month. |
